Wow this is properly incredible. I was watching it with a sense that it was a kind of milestone in human achievement - all the efforts of thousands of people in hundreds of areas of expertise - flight, fabric manufacture, physics - all their efforts are focussed from hundreds of years into this one activity that's so mind-blowing and more than the sum of it's parts - it's the ultimate imagining of our ancestors, to be like the birds, a wish that saw us draw wings on our gods and angels. It made me briefly proud to be human, man on the moon feeling. I'm one of those - I'm a people too. Look - look what we can do. Fantastic. Thanks, all you people. We did it :).
