  austraila seems a bit limited on variety. i would hope for california, that way you still have mexico down south. you could even step back a few years earlier to the gold-rush era

  • i dunno, au has a lot of different kinds of terrain, meshes perfectly into the western thing, will introduce a lot of new creatures, and you could work the british colonists into itscarabin
