    I didn't go to art school but my bachelors was an arts degree.

    I'm glad I went, but I didn't learn my skills there. I learnt my technical ability independently, but the practical understandings of industry and ways to innovate through my course.

    I work by trade as a Web/UI Designer/Innovator, and I can't see how studying Web Design (I didn't) would have given me more opportunity in my field.
