    Thanks orrinward. I would be building a desktop, and since I have NO experience in computer building, I would buy parts that I knew worked out of the box, so to say.

    Can you point me to a well-known build-your-own guide? Some of the ones I see are not as simple as I had hoped, some are too expensive, and some are just outdated.
