  What a terrible turn of events. Harper is going to turn Canada into a Biblebelt state and nobody can stop him now. And we're closer than ever to a two party system, which is a huge step backwards for democratic representation in this country.

  The only good things are the destruction of the Bloc, and the astounding gains made by the NDP – though largely in Quebec, so who knows how that will work out.
