Harper is done. If he doesn't win a majority the knives will be out and there's no way he will make it past the next party leadership convention.
IMHO there's nothing inherently wrong fiscal conservatism. It has it's place and advantages for some people. Where the party suffers is in it's social conservative policies. If you're going to form a majority in Canada you need to be much more open minded.
