Sweet! Don't know if the alternate is "hipsterish". Maybe just easier for most people to get setup and running. Seems like what you posted only works on PC's?
- the only thing missing is a native mac ftp, which they discontinued********
- but using the php in step 2 and cyberduck would be more efficient than the dropbox method********
