    They have to keep the Wii brand name or the casuals/grandparents/girls they picked up with the Wii won't make the transition to the new console. I don't know if "Super" holds the cache it once did, so it might be another prefix or suffix. The competition seem to like numbers, so Nintendo probably won't go that direction.

    • Super Nintendo was a great name and there is no confusion about what the word means, especially kids. Wii is preserved toomonospaced
