It looked to me that way, when we started. The thing is, we've been working in such an environment for months now: Win 7 Pro as file and web server, 2 x iMacs.
However, the hiccups were not seldom and I still cannot pin down the problem. I really don't know where to look. I've read many tips and tricks, tried this and that. Now with "Name Surname" usernames, used both on Macs & Windows, and different sharing permissions on Win box the hiccups seem to occur even more often. It is unbearable to sit and watch the Finder "wait" for something for a minute every half an hour.
I am just saying.Maybe a super-tip, anyone?
