e-pill, brother...I am trying to follow you hear, and I don't really want to get into your bidness..but I'm flumoxed...

So you paid 10k in taxes, which you said is 1/4 of your earned income, managed to save 50%..and then you live in NYC? How is this even possible? Are you earnings freelance/consultant or are you getting a salary? I mean..are you ponying up payroll taxes during the year? Doesn't sound like it and you're getting slammed at the end of the year..but but..aren't you writing shit off? Are you doing your taxes yourself or do you have an accountant?

I am truly flummoxed by the information you are posting...

    • i dont live in nyc and havent lived in nyc for over 3 years now..e-pill
    • i was freelance and didnt claim quaterly this one year..e-pill
    • i didnt work much last yer just had heavy paying jobs that i completed in a short time..e-pill
    • i dont see what the issue here is..10K is not a lot to pay in taxes either..e-pill
    • That is very high.Jaline
    • for that salary...Jaline
    • is it really? it is rather accurate.. what number did you come up with then?e-pill
    • don't mean to judge too much, but I figure because you post it here, it's fair game.Jaline
    • Or maybe where I live is completely different or the employment situation varies, who knows.Jaline
    • its no problem gurl..e-pill
    • If it's self-employed income the number might be right, but the lump sum is killer...TheBlueOne
    • ..and doesn't sound like you wrote too much off...TheBlueOne
