God, can't believe this is even an argument. It's funny how people argue over this saying that something else is a better option. Yeah, Flash may not be perfect just yet. But what >> multimedia << solution is right now?

Is "HTML5" supposed to be the savior? HTML5 stuff runs like shit on mobile too. Have you ever seen a smooth HTML5 animation on your iPad or iPhone? I haven't. Shit, those iAds crash my iPad all the time. Ever been to a site that used HTML5 stuff? It runs like pure shit.

So lets get over the HTML5-is-the-shit-mentality because it's not. It's just a new and different technology. Yeah, you don't need a plugin, but you need the correct browser. Is that all? It can't even do a quarter of the things Flash can do. Jut no comparison.

I'm all for HTML5 becoming successful though, just please don't act like it's the end all solution to everything because it's not. It's far from it.

Regarding Apple and Flash causing issues on a desktop (this is coming from someone who now uses all mac stuff). Again, how come my old ass shitty old PC can run Flash perfectly fine but NEW powerhouse Macs have problems with it (I've only had Flash crash a cpl times but supposedly a lot of Mac folks run into this issue). Can you answer that question?

Again, all this crap will be old news in two years when mobile will be just as powerful as desktops from a few years ago. All problems solved.
