Who freaking cares? I don't call my kids squirt, mostly because I prefer more original, less smarmy nicknames (Grambo for Graham, Jackattack for Jackson, etc.). But I really think the origin of "squirt" is innocent. If anything gross is implied, I guarantee you it refers to diaper filling, not baby making. If the guy called his kids something truly derogatory like dummy, then yeah you have cause for concern. Otherwise: relax, sport.
