We use DNN at the place I work. I can tell you it's kind of a bear to work with, and I don't feel it's very user friendly.

It's supposed to be a lot of plug and play, but a lot of times things just don't act or behave the way they are supposed to. There are always updates, but we actually update the CMS as little as possible because (and this must have happened before I started) it always broke something.

I'm very lucky, because I have a programmer that I work with that can pretty much make anything happen on there, but there is a bit of a learning curve to it. The community for designers and how to skin the sites is not very helpful.

A lot of what I learned was trial and error. And I still sometimes feel limited by the system.

However, it does seem to play nice with inventory and wear house software. We built a pretty complex ecommerce site using DNN and custom built modules.

Hope that helps. I think my email is in my profile if you have any specific questions, I can probably find out the answer for you.
