  nb - Last week the Libs saw a jump in the polls at the expense of the NDP and Bloc. Those three parties can gain or lose from each other, but the Liberals can also gain from moderate/centrist conservatives freaked out by the Cons and their Tea Party agenda. I really detest the idea of "unite the left" but the Conservative Reform Alliance Party (CRAP) may have forced it.
