@mightyj GroupMe and Beluga are very closed and private. You cant see what your friends are doing. We have a few different levels of privacy:
PRIVATE: only visible to you and the people in the huddle
ELASTIC: your non-private huddles are visible to friends in your personal network
FUNCTIONAL: used for when you want to create a huddl, but not be friends with everyone in it (so they cant see what you're doing in other huddles). great for school/study groups or temporary activities.
COMMERCIAL: used for events, or brands, or recreational activies. these can involve a LOT of people. you can create one by printing the QR code (hint: tap "+" and then the lightning bolt, the create a huddle and send yourself the code)I hope this helps explain how we are different. The competition isnt even close. Yeah, they have a conference call feature... ooook.
