  Get a few, very high quality items that works well with each other, instead of a myriad of less-than-great quality clothes in all the colors of the rainbow.

  Think a couple of slack, perhaps dark gray and light gray.
  A couple of shirts. Say white, light blue.

  Then really splurge on quality shoes. Preferably in leather.
