@ThePublics The differences are no greater in Quebec than they are from place to place in the rest of Canada, I agree.

Learn your history of Canada and you will understand why there's such a strong backlash coming from Quebec.

    IE: Durham report

"Durham recommended that Upper and Lower Canada be united into one province, which would give British Canadians a slight advantage in population. He also encouraged immigration to Canada from Britain, to overwhelm the existing numbers of French Canadians with the hope of assimilating them into British culture.[1] The freedoms granted to the French Canadians under the Royal Proclamation of 1763 and the Quebec Act of 1774 should also be rescinded; according to Lord Durham this would eliminate the possibility of future rebellions. The French Canadians did not necessarily have to give up their religion and language entirely, but it could not be protected at the expense of what Durham considered a more progressive British culture."

Canada was created to assimilate and eliminate french culture from the british colonies.

and now regarding the money issue... you do realize that Quebec and Ontario have been paying for everything since the beginning of Canada? and it's just recently that our welfare gobbling neighbours found some oil and decided not to share the profits. How about some paypack from Newfoundland who was bribbed into Canada and maintained alive with QC/ON money for 70+ years? How about Alberta stops complaining about having to pay perequation when the entire province, it's settlement and infrastructures were entirely paid for by QC/ON. And what the hell has new brunswick and nova scotia contributed to get a free pass? they over fished and killed their only source of revenue and now what? I'm supposed to pay them to stay alive.

It's the same shit everywhere, entitlement wall to wall... Quebec's just a little louder, it's in our culture =)
