I don't think the discussion about french canada should be about culture but more about politics. Politically speaking french and english canada are under the same roof, they are the same people. Canada and USA are similar culturally but distinct politically, thats what matters in nationhood. But tell that to Harper he doesn't think Canada should remain distinct politically because he is globalist puppet as he proved over the last few years.
