The problem isn't what is 'next', the problem is that a monopolistic conglomerate has made a choice that will eliminate the competition.
That's the problem I have with it all. No competition is a bad thing.
One better than the other? Who knows, far too early to tell, certainly there has been nothing, zippo, of HTML5 that comes anywhere near quality Flash websites (that I've seen).
But I bought an iPad2. Can't beat'em, join'em, as they say.
Still, I think Flash will be on there eventually, once Adobe gets their head out of their asses and the competition gains momentum.
