    Me - gym 5 times a week for 8 weeks = lost pant size, blood pressure down from 150 to 130, never winded, can bench-press bellydancers with ease.

    Tips:

    • Avoid anything that has bread, noodles or listed as high carbs. Switch beer to wine.

    • When at the gym, do 30 min cardio, then work out only large muscles. Don't bother with curls or anything like that. Work out your chest, back, legs, and shoulders predominantly. Focus on a combo of weighs and metabolic exercises like burpees and squats.

    • Don't rest for more than a minute between exercises.

    • Don't weigh yourself for at least a month. Let the first improvements be perceptual, not measured, for better positive reinforcement.

    • Don't ever let anyone tell you "why not just take the day off from the gym this one time". Even if it's your wife.

    • If you miss a day in the week, you have to make up for it on saturday or sunday.

    Gonna keep going with "the plan" and then slay some Barcelona tail this summer.
