    yeah... xcreonx seems to have it down as regards to the setup for the above shot. but you are going to have a heck of a time trying to get it right if you show up to the shoot with a carful of gear and no experience using any of it.

    the premise of your post boils down to "how do i do this professional thing with no training in this field?" i predict doom for your shoot - sorry.* you really could use a lot more experience using this stuff before trying to tackle a shoot like this, probably.

    *UNLESS you get a pro photographer to help you practice with all that stuff the day before, and to stick with you during the shoot to guide you through. a seasoned photo assistant could also do this. but they will be doing so much for you, i fear, that you will be pretty much art-directing the shoot while the photographic help does all the actual work.

    anyway... best of luck! i hope you manage to get it all together (:
