i remember designing and making several 9/11 tribute shirts and posters for clients at a job i had during 9/11. these were meant as community glue... things to wear/hang in the office
i doubt it's shameless arrogant self promotion if you don't know who made the posters. it's a reaction, a way to vent and deal with something we are all dealing with internally. few, very few of the posters i have seen floating around are even being resold.
lumping artists together in such an ignorant fashion leads to irrelevant conversations such as this one
