Nail on the head. GH2 is pretty much the best hybrid video cam you can get. Better than the 5D mk II for video. But it costs a lot.
I have a GF1 and one of my lenses is a canon FD 50mm macro. It's a nice lens, but I wouldn't want the body of the camera smaller, it would be awkward with large legacy glass. So if I were you I'd steer clear of the gf2. It's slightly more compact, but that's it's only benefit, and the touch screen isn't great from what I've read.
So you're interested in video? Well I think my gf1 shoots decent enough video. And you can install hacked firmware for higher bit rate video. It's completely stable. I have mine doing 33mbps as opposed to the default of (iirc) 17mbps. The quality isn't anywhere near twice as good, but it is an improvement.
