  to take a greater than half your previous salary as a pay cut just doesnt cut it economy or not.. if you were a single guy, no wife, no kids, and you lived somewhere that you can get by on the after taxes salary of what 25K may be then its still, NO!!

  didnt you just tell us that you have a wife and kid? you would break down mentally by mid year trying to figure out your financials on a daily that which you do not have today.. with life cost going up, your salary should match that..

  especially since you provide for others outside of you. look for a better gig that respects you. not one that would take advantage of your worth.
