I am glad you brought this up.

    I am really interested in:

    Mini homes

    Dome Houses

All these materials range from wood, steel and concrete. Mudbrick also seems like a viable solution in the right climate.

The problem is whats the best approach? Find a plot of land out in BFE and build your own little home or develop small communities with shops, restaurants, businesses and modern simple urban outdoor living?
For $100,000 you could truly develop something self sustaining and inspiring. ($40,000 land $50,000 build $10,000 Misc and Permits)

I am not much on material but concrete seems good, including bamboo and plastic.

The have 'General Vallejo's mission' in Northern California that was built in the 1850's out of mud, grass and sand and its still standing today.

Its really a great time to revolutionize communities, commuting, working and providing in new forms of living and technological resources that are not being utilized.

A lot to be done and not much doing.
