  Yeah, I like the fact that Facebook are going to be disadvantaged by this, but I'm a bit concerned about the difference this is going to make to sites that originate from Europe.

  Having to select (and agree to) cookie settings for every site is
  probably going to dissuade people from using EU sites and might push them towards using US sites instead.

  I guess we'll have to see how it pans out - maybe it won't be as bad as I'm imagining.
