    Canada is a great place to live and work, ignore the hate. Take this with a grain of salt, but the Economist rates 3(in the top 5) major Canadian cities as the top places to live in the world:

    If you're a top "creative", you can get paid and paid well. I've got similar experience to you, Deks (5+yrs working experience, this is my sixth year out of school) and I'll make $75k this year. It's all what you make it, obviously and where you choose to work.

    Montreal is a great city with an awesome nightlife and probably provides the closest to a "European lifestyle" that you'll get in Canada. Amsterdam is awesome, don't get me wrong, but so is Canaduh. ;-)
