i understand why everyone is dogging adbusters and their buy nothing day. but at least they bring attention to the real problems out there. this is what they're trying to do. if they get more people to be more conscious about themselves and their consumerist behaviors, thats a start. no one is perfect. and they've only been around for a little while. give em a few more years, they will have their shit together. and you'll probably be culture jamming too. why do you have to buy christmas presents if its such a chore and burden upon yourself financially and not a gesture of goodwill and love? why are bogus holidays declared law in the land if they're just economic ploys to make people buy things they don't need? i'm glad adbusters is around, they have provoked such thought in a land that desperately needs a wake call. stop guzzlin the haterade (quoting a fellow nter).
