If you define a button space on your nav, you should make it clickable, not just the text. drag scroll is laborious and not necessary. lead with image not description.
If your looking to do more web work then continue banging on this. If you need a site to show your work, you might as well use something like c@rgo. But kudos for building it. I design sites for a living and 'phoned it in' by using a template for mine.
