If in doubt ask yourself WWBD – What Would Bringhurst Do?
Check the logic of your line breaks in display material. Line breaks in headings should make sense with how you would read and understand the words.
Personally I also do this for all line breaks in adverts and short copy items.
I leave numbers together with what they are counting, and try to keep all parts of a date together if the resulting rag isn't too ugly.
