ive gotten the flu so bad a few tiems i was really scared there might be some long term problems from it. once when i was a kid they had to put me in ice to get the fever down.. the most recent time.. in high school.. i was projectile vomiting like was 3 yrs old again.
doesnt seem rare to me... cos ive gone to the hospitol for it. i was never really a sick kid.. i wasnt too underweight but i was a little skinnier than most.. but i was active. i think it just depends on the person. and lately.. the strains hav ebeen getting worse and stronger bc of our antibiotics.
