You gotta have a vision and a business sense to tell a guy like Ive what to design.
This is what made Jobs so unique.. I don't think people even realize what this means.. HP has some slick designs, so do others.. but they have suck management and don't have people who really understand what and how to do things to create this brand recognition and desirability.
The fact is that Jobs smarts to get when to close everything up and what to do next over the long haul is what makes him unique.
There's noone else that can do that in Apple.. they will become just another computer manufacturer once he goes. And will start making stupid shit like "small iphones" or colorful computers and all the same shit they've been doing when Steve was out.
