Yeah... I mean despite his freakish controlling nature, greed that runs through his veins that was fascinatingly genius in how he managed to get the sheep to follow him and spend money while blowing smoke up their asses and how he still managed to make every single company out there envy him and Apple because they have, as someone else said, have proven that good design will make even the greediest business model work and get support from consumers because it's just looks great.. and that's something I have not seen anyone else manage to achieve in technology world.
If anything, he made every other company improve their designs and the way they make products just so they would stay competitive with Apple.. For that, he will be missed when he goes.
I mean look at my own paradox.. I can't stand him, I can't stand the business model he has thought off and how he runs Apple, yet I simply cannot say that their products are not absolutely the most beautiful electronic devices you can use (from laptops to mobile devices to desktops).
You can't say this model isn't working for Apple as well.. he made that company come around from the bankruptcy to being a company with the highest market cap. That by itself is something to give you pause. Not many people can do that. But I guess, in order to do that, you gotta throw someone under the bus and in this case that's consumers and our freedoms in how to use products.. I don't have to like it but it sure worked for them and in the process made everyone look like incompetent jackasses.
- totally agree. i dont like jobs, dont like apple. But i would never say their products are less than excellent.Hombre_Lobo
