    You're right in a way, but...
    Jobs got screwed once when suits he brought into the company fired him.
    Since his return to Apple he stopped taking prisoners. I doubt I would be enjoying my favourite electronic devices and tools I have now had he not been this way.

    Here's the thing: nobody has to sell through Apple or buy their stuff.

    Have you checked how much publishing on Amazon costs?

    They take 30% ...or 65% for books sold outside US, UK or Canada!
