I caught the doc on the BBC and it did shatter a few of my illusions (oliver stone induced mainly to be honest. . . but in the defence of him he did say it was a dramatisation based on Garrissons book, a cop out maybe but it is a movie based on one man's opinion)
Anyhow the more I think about it considering the stuff on the doc the more it makes sense.
As Kezza said, if it was Oswald that doesn't mean he wasn't a puppet programmed to assasinate Kennedy. It's pretty easy to influence people who want to go in a certain direction and we know the US researched that kind of 'mind control'. Oswald came across as someone who wanted to be remembered for making a difference and someone like that would be putty in the right hands.
I think he was set up, he probably did it but did he act alone? I don't think so. The last (clinton instigated) US commission set up to investigate the assasination found in favour of a probable conspiracy.
I reckon Kennedy wasn't going to get out of there alive in all honesty, there was no way that was going to happen so it was set up as an ideal place for Oswald to do the crime.
The US government would never of done it themselves, they wouldn't be that stupid. Just put all the pieces in place (lax security, unusual turn in the road, Oswald, evidence, etc. etc)and watch the fireworks.
It's the way America has instigated regime change abroad remember!
Anyways thats my 2cents, have a look at the photos on this site: http://www.prouty.org/
more conspiracy but he was the real 'General X' from the movie and the photos are interesting to say the least!
