  I work in a very small studio (8 people). We have

  Owner/Account Manager/Sales
  Creative Director
  Account/Project Manager
  Me

  As the sole designer for the last 4 months there isn't a single project where I haven't managed almost all aspects of a project. My creative director is now essentially a 'brand strategist' and rarely offers any feedback/critique in the way of true 'creative/art director'.

  I am designer/cd/ad/pm and at times AM.... And I can say with no ego that I do all of these things better than my 'superiors'.
