As an aside, I read a recruitment ad this morning for a role. "Senior vice president of brand strategy"
Oooh, I thought, that sounds good. Senior suggests there'd be subordinates to delegate to, and vice president suggests there'd only be the president to answer to. Great! The add went on
"The senior vice president reports directly to the executive senior vice president and a team of executive senior vice presidents from other departments"
Right. So "Junior" then.
