The Challenger is my first conscious memory. I was in kindergarten and I remember thinking the explosion was all part of the way the shuttle launched. I think I said that the rockets were separating from the shuttle (I was obsessed with space shuttles even then). My first memory and I was wrong about something... ah nothing's changed...
