When living in a really tiny flat I built a massive storage unit under the bed.The bed itself looked a little weird as it was ended up being a bit taller than usual but I could fit about 4 large suitcases, plenty of bedding, an inflatable bed, the old surround system (too large for the flat) ... and a few dead bodies, adequately chopped.
