I used to design Velocity Magazine in Chicago for about three years, we made an attempt to go national and blew our wad a little quickly before sales came in.
publisher is working on getting it back on the chicago streets some time in 2003.
As of now I design mags for primedia, they are all low budget and very easy to do. I have done one whole complete redesign, a fresh template for a new title, and and working on some annuals.
Its not glamorous, but at least I'm still doing mag design in such a shitty economy.tenbyten rocks - well designed, I'd love to photograph for them.
Spin mag - Foo Fighter cover was one of the best ever done, I've admired the design for awhile
BPM - seen it once, is it brit or american?p.
