Have you had it under contract for a while with T-Mobile? If so, I believe they are obligated to unlock it on customer request after a certain amount of time has passed on your contract. Best chat with them directly about it, but I do believe I remember hearing something to this effect.
- And by 'unlock', I mean SIM unlock.Continuity
