I think it would be interesting to track down the designers (mostly unknown) who came up with all these ideas that we use actually everyday.
Who actually came up with the concept for Wordpress/Blogger or the first browser design? Who are the people who came up with the Apple UI look and feel, or the layouts for Twitter and Google. Its easy to point to design "celebrities" like David Carson or on the web, someone like Joshua Davis, and call them heroes, but how much influence do they really have outside of a small circle of people?

- That's what I was thinking, there are fewer big names than in the early-mid 90s********
- Back then, it was more about ego and being an artist. Today, with digital anyway, much more about business and functionality.********
