what amd based systems are any good these days compared to the intel i5-i7s?
- Phenom x6 is the closest.kalkal
- AMD - Phenom II X6 1055T specifically, the Black Edition can be bumped to around 3.6-4ghzkalkal

- do you need different more expensive motherboards for the intels?********
- The overclocking is much easier. Physically putting stuff together is pretty much the same.kalkal
