You guys miss the point. I'm not here to redebate every last issue and have no desire to. If you want to support returning to the Gold Standard or, I dunno, go attend a Civil War reenactment on the weekend, more power to ya.
My point was the hysterical tone out there, and the throwing around of words like Marxist to describe the current government which are completely idiotic. Along with all this violent imagery and "water the tree of liberty" crap.
If you believe in the need for revolution, then you should be prepared for acts of violence and take responsibility for them. People in every revolution, from French to Cuban, were prepared to do so. But you can't have it both ways, and on one hand throw out this revolutionary, over the top rhetoric while at the same time say it has no effect on people. Man up and take responsibility for your own actions, fair enough isn't it?
