not sure what you mean by 'old woodsy' style... could mean any number of things and a compass is not an immediate association I draw to the phrase 'old woodsy'.
Compass is typically associated with navigation, direction, maps, topography...
Old woodsy to me means... I dunno. I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. I guess i could assume you're trying to capture an old-style outdoorsman / survivalist's rugged, pathfinding style. I'm thinking cracked leather, beards, hatchets, killing bears with your bare hands.
The icon for the logo - meaning the compass - I feel is not very strong yet. The stylized M is unique but the idea of a compass itself is not.
The typography is starting to get at something richer but it's not quite there yet. I think you could definitely finesse the C's using upper and lowercase. I also think you need to kern like a mofo.
I would not settle on this mark for any reason right now... keep pushing yourself and explore more ideas.
