Not bad overall. Yes, there might be some similarities to other brands/logos, but it serves it's purpose and it's pretty decent considering how tight the Olympic commitee bitches are.
There are nice references to Brazilian landmarks, clever message/word formed within the symbol and the type manages to blend well with the design. Not a huuuge fan, but I give it one thumb up.
