there are apparently different type of migraines. my case is apparently genetics. my mom has them too.

a couple of minutes before I get one, i'd get dizzy and start losing my eyesight.... hard to explain. it's like if you press hard enough on your eyes you see this weird grey numb stars...anyway. that starts off in the top right corner of my eye sight. then it creeps in and sweeps across in a minute or so to completely cover my eyesight. I literally become blind.

as soon as I'm completely "blind", my eyesight suddenly returns in a snap. that's when the migraine starts.

was told by a friend, who is a doctor, that this is the textbook case of heritable migraines related to some sort of cardiac problem. my artery contracts and blood circulation to the head slows down (loss of eye sight and dizziness) and then my artery suddenly open up and the rush of blood to the head is when the migraine starts.

best way to counter the migraine is try to grab something to eat quickly while I'm dizzy + blind. swallow at least 4 to 5 extra strength advils and go to bed. the ONLY way I found that I can get pass my migraines.
