I wouldn't have thought Ottawa would be much other than government related projects/contracts. Is that the case? Any city will have small businesses that need work, but what about larger business? Much luck living/setting up in Ottawa but getting projects/work out of the GTA?
I am curious because my wife and I have considered Ottawa as a place to live for a while, but are concerned that its a bit vanilla a town (not saying much coming from Calgary though) and that creative work is slim.
