It'll kill us, no doubt. I can't see how anyone can argue that it won't (and this goes to most scifi things like genetically modified foods), there is simply not enough data to say it is 'safe'.
But what else ya gonna do? The signals are everywhere and growing. Can't really hide from them, so might as well accept that we'll all start seeing random and hard to cure cancers in our lifetime.
