This camera is a piece of crap. The glass sucks, the low light performance is terrible and since it uses non-removable storage media, if the camera malfunctions you can't take the card out and save your videos, in fact in my case they couldn't be recovered. Big fucking mess. Definitely not worth the $195 I paid for it, it's worth half that.
I got a refund on the flip, and replaced it with a kodak zi8 from ebay for $80, shipped. It has it's own quirks, but the fact that it records in 1080p, has external mic jack, and has a very useful normal/macro switch, made it an easy choice for me. One thing to note, low light performance is almost as crappy as the flip ultra hd as noted above.
